I have also tried to execute "Colourbind. I have checked the integrity of the local files with the tool that steam has for that, but it says that everything is OK. MistaMints, if you try to execute it from the browser, does it work? By the way, in the store page of the game, if I click "view achievements" I get an error page. I have the same problem.
You are not alone, mate! Dagh Druim: were you able to solve the problem? If you can, I guess it might be a Windows version problem looking for information about "not a valid Win32 application".

Everyone: Could people experiencing this problem let us know which version of Windows they're running? I have a sneaking suspicion that has something to do with it.

I'll post back here when it's sorted. Sorry about that, everyone. I'll get back to figuring out what the real problem is now. Now it's working! You cannot share your game with other family members if the access is not authorized. So, the first thing you can do to fix the issue is to re-authorize shared Steam Library. Step 1 : The owner of the shared Library needs to go to the Device Management page. Step 2 : Select Manage Family Library Sharing and deauthorize the device that is giving the issue by unchecking it.
Step 3 : The borrower goes to launch on of the games in the shared Library. This will open a request to share and the requesting access will send an authorization email to the game owner. Step 4 : Now, click the link in the email to authorize that computer and grand access to the library.
The corrupted or missing system files can also lead to Steam Family Sharing not working. In this case, you can use System File Checker to replace these system files with new data. You might also encounter Steam Family Sharing not working if antivirus software is running on your computer. You can temporarily disable your antivirus and verify the integrity of your game files.
You will then have the option to authorize any accounts that have also logged into the same computer. Limited accounts are restricted from adding friends.
However, you can still accept friend invites from other non-limited users. Select Family in the side menu, then click the box that says Authorize Library Sharing on this computer. You can authorize library sharing in the Steam app. Then choose Private from the drop-down menu, which will set the Game Activity to Private. You can check if the above steps successfully hide your Steam activity from private settings. As you can see, the games are hidden as they should be.
Through steam, there is no way to see if they are offline or have it set to offline. Go offline on Steam then come back online again, as outlined above.
